Christian de MAILLARD founds SOPPEC, a manufacturer of paints, varnishes and maintenance products for wood.

The company specialises in the design, manufacture and marketing of aerosol marking paints.

1997 Invention of the TP cap.

The first patented safety cap is born: The TP Cap ! It offers resistance, ease of use and clean application. It propels SOPPEC to the rank of leader of aerosol marking.

Thibault de Maillard succeeds his father

Thibault de Maillard takes over the company, which had by then become one of the European market leaders.

Achievement of the ISO Triple Certification

SOPPEC obtains the ISO Triple Certification

ISO 9001 for Quality, ISO 14001 for Safety, OHSAS 18001 for Environment.

Acquisition of RX2 Industrial Solutions in the Netherlands, distributor of aerosol sprays. Creation of Technima Benelux, the group’s subsidiary for the Benelux zone. 

Acquisition of the CIA subsidiary of the NESPOLI group, manufacturer of aerosol sprays. Creation of CIA Technima Sud Europa for the Mediterranean area.

Acquisition of ITAL GETE, an Italian aerosol paint manufacturer based in Milan, renowned for the production of paints for the Decorative, Fine Art and Street Art markets.

Acquisition of the German company STANGER, located in Espelkamp. The company is specialized in the manufacture of glues and adhesives for the retail and industrial market. It also manufactures bulk and aerosol paints for marking or hobbies. Finally, STANGER offers a range of office and hobby supplies (markers, highlighters, erasers, glues, etc.).
